Story:

Agent is an action spy movie in Telugu that was written and directed by Vakkantham Vamsi in 2023. Starring are Sakshi Vaidya, Dino Morea, Vikramjeet Virk, Mammootty, and Akhil Akkineni. With this movie, Vaidya and Morea make their Telugu film debuts.

The movie’s release date was September 2020. Filming was done in Manali, Visakhapatnam, Hyderabad, and Budapest. The COVID-19 pandemic and production delays caused the release to be postponed numerous times.

When Agent was released on April 28, 2023, it was met with harsh criticism from critics. As a result, it bombed at the box office and producer Anil Sunkara and Akkineni were forced to issue an apology, acknowledging that the production had started without a bound script.

When RAW chief Colonel Mahadev, also known as “The Devil,” is questioned about planning an impossible mission to kill two terrorists, Mahadev reveals that the two terrorists were employed by a private terror group known as “The Syndicate,” which is led by Dharma, also known as “The God,” and Central Minister Jai Kishan.

But in the meantime, despite numerous failed attempts, young Ramakrishna “Ricky” alias “Wild Saala” is an aspirant and wants to be a RAW agent. Ricky is given a mission by Mahadev, who recognises his potential, to pose as a rookie in order to kidnap Dharma. It is disclosed that Dharma was a former RAW agent who turned evil after Mahadev made him murder his girlfriend. He now intends to disseminate a lethal virus known as “Super Cells”.The virus-carrying device is damaged during a gunfight with Mahadev, which causes a technical issue.

After shooting Jai Kishan dead at the harbour, Ricky goes to Kashmir to find out more about Dharma’s other Syndicate handler. However, the police detain him, and Mahadev disputes that he is a RAW agent. Soon after, with Dharma’s assistance, Ricky manages to get out of custody. Later on, it becomes clear that Ricky and Mahadev staged Ricky’s arrest in order to obtain information about Dharma’s activities. Mahadev hears from Ricky that the virus-containing device has been fixed and that a meeting has been scheduled to sell it to the highest bidder. He gives Ricky the task of obtaining a copy of the device, which also contains the identities and names of all currently active RAW agents.

When Dharma discovers that Ricky is replicating the gadget, he confronts Mahadev and orders him to take a self-shot to prevent him from using missiles to spread the infection. When Ricky is told to shoot Mahadev, he reluctantly obeys. In addition to killing Dharma, Ricky stops the missiles from spreading the virus throughout the nation. Subsequently, he embarks on a novel mission named “Rabbit Fire”.
