Story:

“Dhamaka” is a 2022 Telugu action comedy film directed by Trinadha Rao Nakkina and written by Prasanna Kumar Bezawada. The movie features Ravi Teja, Jayaram, and Sree Leela and is produced by People Media Factory and Abhishek Agarwal Arts.

Principal photography began in October 2021 and concluded in September 2022, with filming locations in Hyderabad and Spain. “Dhamaka” was released during the Christmas weekend on December 23, 2022, and received mixed to positive reviews from critics. It was praised for its cast performances, dance choreography, and soundtrack, but some critics criticized its pacing and screenplay. Despite the mixed reviews, the film achieved substantial success, grossing over ₹108 crore worldwide and becoming one of the highest-grossing Telugu films of 2022.

Jayan Pakshitap, known for his ruthless corporate takeovers, targets Nanda Gopal Chakravarthy’s “People Mart” as a birthday gift for his son, Atharva.

However, he faces resistance from Anand Chakravarthy, the company’s upcoming CEO. Swami, an unemployed man resembling Anand, lives with his family and is burdened by his sister’s impending wedding. He falls for Pranavi, but her father arranges her marriage with Anand.

When Anand is in danger, Swami reveals his dual identity, born out of a childhood friendship with Chakravarthy. Swami impersonates Anand, outsmarts the corporate giants, and reconciles warring families, eventually marrying Pranavi.
