Biography:

V. Harikrishna, born on November 5, 1974, is a multifaceted talent in the Indian entertainment industry, recognized as a film score and soundtrack composer, playback singer, and film producer. Primarily associated with Kannada cinema, he has left an indelible mark with his remarkable contributions.

Harikrishna embarked on his independent journey as a composer with the film “Jothe Jotheyali” in 2006, marking his debut as an independent music director. Since then, he has been a prolific composer for numerous Kannada films, notably collaborating extensively with actor Darshan. His association with Darshan’s productions has yielded many successful soundtracks, establishing him as a prominent figure in Kannada cinema’s music scene.

One of his notable achievements includes winning three consecutive Filmfare Awards for Best Music for his work in “Gaalipata” (2008), “Raaj The Showman” (2009), and “Jackie” (2010). His musical prowess and versatility have been widely acclaimed, with his compositions spanning various genres and captivating audiences across Karnataka.

Harikrishna’s journey in the entertainment industry began with humble beginnings, starting as an assistant to renowned music directors such as Hamsalekha and Sadhu Kokila in the 1990s.
