TheatreE. Krishnappa is the producer of the 2025 Indian Kannada-language romance drama film Manada Kadalu, which was co-written and directed by Yogaraj Bhat. Following eighteen years of their hit film, Mungaru Male (2006), the director-producer team reunites in this film. Sumukha, Rashika Shetty, and Anjali Anish play the main characters in the movie, while Rangayana Raghu and Dattanna play important supporting parts.
The main photography for the movie started in 2024 at Bengaluru, Kodagu, and Mangalore, among other locations in Karnataka. A small number of scenes were also filmed in the Murud-Janjira fort in Maharashtra. Santhosh Rai Pathaje and K. M. Prakash, respectively, were in charge of the film’s cinematography and editing, while V. Harikrishna composed the soundtrack and musical score.
