Suresh Babu

Biography:

S Suresh Babu is an artist and scriptwriter from India who primarily works in Malayalam movies. In 2000, he made his screen debut as a writer alongside director Vinayan and actor Mammootty in the film Dada Sahib. He has since contributed to films like as Jalam (2016), Nadan (2013), Shikkar (2010), Thiruvambadi Thamban (2012), and Oruthee (2022). After ten years away from Malayalam cinema, Navya Nair made her comeback with the commercially successful film Oruthee.

Since then, Suresh has made a substantial contribution to the Malayalam cinema industry by working with well-known filmmakers and producers to script and screenplay a number of popular blockbusters. Among his well-known pieces are Sir C.P. with Jayaram, Film Star, The Reporter, Jalam, Oruthee, and Live; Dada Sahib with Mammootty, Shikkar, Thandavam, and Kanal; and Mohanlal, Nadan, and Thiruvambadi Thamban. Suresh Babu has won the Film Critics award for best writer for the film-related piece in addition to his accomplishments as a filmmaker. Over the course of his three-decade career, Suresh also dabbles with film production.
