Guru Dutt’s “Godhuli,” where he portrayed Cheluvanayaka, earning acclaim and the Aryabhata Award. Television also played a pivotal role in his recognition, with appearances in series like “Khayar” and “Poli Kitty.”
Sharath’s talent shone brightly in notable films like “Aa Dinagalu” (2007), where he garnered praise for his role as Kotwal Ramachandra. This performance garnered him several awards, including the South Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actor. His foray into Tamil cinema began with “Ethir Neechal.” He became synonymous with portraying antagonistic characters, enriching South Indian cinema.
