Biography:

Seema Pahwa is an Indian actress, director, and theatre artist known for her work in Hindi and regional cinema. She was born on 3 March 1963 in Delhi, India. Seema Pahwa has contributed significantly to the Indian entertainment industry through her versatile acting skills and strong presence on screen.

Seema Pahwa started her career as a theatre artist and was associated with the prestigious theatre group “Theatre Workshops” in Delhi. She gained recognition for her performances in plays like “Desire Under the Elms” and “Hayavadana,” among others. Her dedication and talent in theatre eventually led her to the world of cinema.

In the late 1980s, Seema Pahwa made her debut in Hindi cinema with the film “Salaam Bombay!” directed by Mira Nair. She played a small role in the film but her performance was appreciated by critics. However, she took a break from acting after her marriage to actor Manoj Pahwa.
