Biography:

Satish Kaushik is an Indian film director, actor, and producer who has made significant contributions to the Hindi film industry. He was born on April 13, 1956, in Mahendragarh, Haryana, India.

Satish Kaushik began his career as a film director with the critically acclaimed movie “Roop Ki Rani Choron Ka Raja” in 1993. However, it didn’t perform well at the box office. He later directed and produced the hit film “Mujhe Kucch Kehna Hai” (2001), which marked the successful debut of actors Tusshar Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor.

Apart from his work as a director, Satish Kaushik is also known for his acting skills. He has appeared in numerous supporting and character roles in Bollywood films. Some of his notable acting performances include roles in movies like:

1. “Mr. India” (1987) – He played the comical role of Calendar, one of the staff members at Anil Kapoor’s character’s residence.

2. “Saajan Chale Sasural” (1996) – Satish Kaushik portrayed the character of the protagonist’s loyal friend in this comedy-drama.

3. “Ram Lakhan” (1989) – He played the character of a police officer in this action-packed film directed by Subhash Ghai.

4. “Brick Lane” (2007) – Apart from Bollywood, Satish Kaushik also appeared in international projects, such as this British drama based on the novel by Monica Ali.
