Indian filmmaker S Lakshman Kumar has primarily worked in the Tamil cinema business. Mr. X, Dev (2019), and Singam 2 (2013) are all well-known works by S. Lakshman Kumar. Most famously, producer Lakshman Kumar funded the 2013 Tamil action movie Singam II, in which Suriya played the lead. He provided funding for the 2018 horror thriller Mohini, which was helmed by R. Trisha Krishnan played the lead in Madhesh. Dev is part of his 2019 release.
