Raashii Khanna, a Delhi native, was born on November 30, 1990. After completing her education at Delhi’s St. Mark’s Senior Secondary Public School, she earned an honors Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Lady Shri Ram College. Khanna claims that throughout her time in school and college, she excelled academically and was a total geek who was very studious.
Khanna was younger, her dream was to become a singer, but as she got older, her focus shifted to studying and she eventually wanted to become an IAS officer. Khanna asserts that she had no desire to model or consider a career in acting, and that her destiny brought her to the role. She attempted copywriting for advertisements during her time in college before attempting to act in a number of advertisements before movies.
In the Telugu film Oohalu Gusagusalade (2014), Tamil film Imaikkaa Nodigal (2018), and Malayalam film Villain (2017), she made her acting debut in a supporting role in the Hindi film Madras Cafe (2013). Bengal Tiger(2015), Supreme(2016), Jai Lava Kusa(2017), Tholi Prema(2018), Imaikkaa Nodigal(2018), Venky Mama(2019), Prati Roju Pandage(2019), Thiruchitrambalam(2022), and Sardar(2022) are among Khanna’s commercially successful films that made her a well-known actress in Telugu and Tamil cinema. Khanna has also performed a few bilingual songs. Since then, she has acted in two streaming series: Farzi (2023) and Rudra: The Edge of Darkness (2022).
In Telugu cinema, Khanna is regarded as one of the most well-liked actors. According to Forbes India’s most influential stars on Instagram for South Asian cinema in 2021, she was ranked 16th. She was the most popular Indian celebrity on IMDb’s weekly list in February 2023. Her roles in movies like Oohalu Gusagusalade, Bengal Tiger, Supreme, Jai Lava Kusa, Tholi Prema, Imaikkaa Nodigal, and Prati Roju Pandage have garnered her a lot of praise.

Khanna is providing free meals to the underprivileged in Hyderabad through an initiative called #BeTheMiracle. Additionally, she established the “Roti Bank” foundation, a non-governmental organization, and collaborated with multiple NGOs to address various concerns and needs of individuals amidst the COVID-19 pandemic in India.
