Story:

Dharman is the 173rd movie starring superstar Rajinikanth, which is produced by Kamal Haasan-led Raaj Kamal Films International. The first look poster, directed by Ashwath Marimuthu of Oh My Kadavule and Dragon fame, shows Rajinikanth as a lethal physician. Today, the entire cast and crew attended the puja ceremony for the movie in Chennai. Shooting for the movie will start tomorrow.

The poster’s creators released it with the Tamil caption “Dharmame Vellum,” which roughly translates to “Justice will prevail.” It shows Rajinikanth in blue scrubs holding a scalpel that is dripping with blood and stepping on a man who has been beaten to death.

Anirudh Ravichander will compose the music for the film, while Niketh Bommi, Pradeep E. Ragav, and Anbariv will handle the cinematography, editing, and action, respectively. At the film’s launch, director Ashwath Marimuthu confirmed Rajinikanth’s role as a doctor and stated that it would be a commercial entertainer with family and thriller elements. Actors Simran and Raashi Khanna are part of the cast, and the makers are expected to reveal the full cast shortly.
