Prashanth R Vihari, also known as Prashanth R Vihari, is an Indian music director born on July 25, 1989, in Hyderabad, Telangana, into a Hindu family. Alongside his role as a music director, he is also a music composer and singer, primarily known for his work in the Tollywood entertainment industry, focusing on Telugu language movies. Having pursued B.Tech from KITS Warangal, Vihari has gained significant popularity in the South and the Tollywood domain.
Vihari initiated his musical journey at A. R. Rahman’s KM Music Conservatory and LV Prasad Film Academy. His debut opportunity came when Yakub Ali recognized his talent, particularly impressed by Vihari’s rendition of Bharatiyar’s poem titled “Suttum Vizhi Chudar Thaan Kannamma.” This led to Vihari’s debut in the movie “Vellipomakey,” and the soundtrack gained acclaim, especially after being shared by media celebrities. Subsequently, Raj Kandukuri, impressed by Vihari’s work in “Vellipomakey,” entrusted him with the music composition for “Mental Madhilo” (2017). Vihari’s musical expertise extended to the space-themed film “Antariksham 9000 KMPH” (2018).
