Plot
Satyadev, or Uttam Kumar, is an expert con artist. He has grandiose ideas for clever con games and pulls them off flawlessly. He has conned individuals into buying common snakes from him on the false pretenses that they are exotic and will bring in millions of dollars on the international market.
He has also promoted a fictitious multi-level marketing company with dubious chain referral schemes that promise a BMW automobile within a year. He has conned people by impersonating well-known figures and claiming to be in their inner circle.
He has also fooled people into believing he owns rare stones, artifacts, and Lilliput. And last but not least, there was the infamous Emu scam, in which investors were promised enormous returns by means of Emu farms. Chinna Waltair’s orphan Avani (Nandita Swetha)
She follows Uttam to work and gets seduced by him. Even though he has a warm spot for her, Uttam’s top priority is money. He gives up on Avani as a result. Uttam is arrested in a small swindle about 40 minutes into the movie, but the local police were unaware of his true identity.
While this scam is being reported by the media as a little, unimportant story, ACP Chandra Sekhar IPS (Shiju) of the Hyderabad Police discovers Uttam, notifies the local police, and several charges are brought against him.
In an unsuccessful attempt to retrieve the money, the cops torture him. When it comes to his past, Uttam comes clean. His mother is a flower vendor and his father works as a clerk. He comes from a very impoverished family.
His father once overheard discussions about launching a swindle by his higher-ranking officials. When he gently requests that they not do so, they toss him aside and fire him.
His mother is very ill and his father perishes during a stampede. She is told by a gracious woman that her son will receive an education before being seen walking out with a suitcase. Uttam’s mother unexpectedly passes away after hearing the entire tale from him.
Overcome with sadness, he chooses to deceive avaricious people Due to a lack of substantial proof, the court releases him months later, and his colleagues betray Uttam and make off with the remaining funds.
An enraged investor employs Pasupathi (Aditya Menon) and his group to retrieve his funds and murder Uttam; the group kidnaps him outside the courtroom and pummeleth him. Afterwards, he persuades them to pull out another scam worth a billion rupees, which will pay them more than their employer.
They assassinate and remove their hirer, believing in his abilities, and conduct another con to fund a larger one. He feels that the onus should be on the person who is stupid or avaricious enough to fall for a ruse. He contends that in every election, voters are duped by politicians who make grand promises to them but fall short of keeping them.
The following scam was nothing more than a trap set by Uttam for a gang. He sends the gang to Dhana Setty (Prudhvi Raj), a victim of one of his previous scams, knowing that they’ll be caught since he’s on guard and will call the police because of his prior experience.
Uttam’s treachery infuriates the gang, which leads to their imprisonment. He returns to Avani in the meanwhile, and she takes care of him for a while until they get married and relocate to Chikmagalore. Eventually, she gets pregnant.
As the group is freed, they threaten to kill Uttam and his wife unless he pulls off a larger con, pays off their losses, and settles their outstanding debt.
After Uttam gives his consent, the gang departs from Basava (Temper Vamsi) to watch over Avani, who is expecting, and heads to Bengaluru to carry out a last heist in order to give them the money.
They use the rice pulling fraud, one of the most well-known scams of the era, to target Ugrappa Gowda, a wealthy and politically connected marble and granite magnate. They propose that he solve his political, economic, and personal issues with the artifact implicated in the hoax.
Following rituals, the artifact is transferred as Ugrappa accepts the offer, and the gang is paid 100 crore rupees. There is a struggle when money moves. After killing them, Uttam takes the money and goes back to his wife and child. He finally understands the value of life by the expression on her face, and he gives the money to the police.
