Story:

The Telugu-language neo-noir thriller Kapatadhaari, which was produced by G. Dhana66njayan and directed by Pradeep Krishnamoorthy, was released in 2021. Starring Sumanth and Nandhita, with Nassar and Jayaprakash in supporting parts, it is an adaptation of the 2019 Kannada film Kavaludaari. Filmed concurrently in Telugu and Tamil, Kabadadaari was the title of the latter, which starred Sibi Sathyaraj in place of Sumanth. Simon K. King wrote the music. On February 19, 2021, it was made available.

Plot

Kapatadhaari is a Telugu thriller film that revolves around a traffic constable named Gowtham (played by Sumanth), who stumbles upon a mysterious case while performing his duties. The narrative is a remake of the Kannada film “Kavaludaari.”

Gowtham, a diligent and principled officer, comes across an old case file while sorting through the records at the police station. Intrigued by the unsolved case of a woman’s death, he decides to delve deeper into the investigation, driven by his innate sense of justice and curiosity.

As Gowtham begins re-investigating the case, he encounters obstacles and challenges, including resistance from his superiors and the passage of time that has made evidence and witnesses difficult to trace. However, his determination leads him to uncover new leads and potential suspects.
