Michael Waldron

Biography:

American screenwriter and producer Michael Waldron was born on April 23, 1987 . He is well-known for his work on the television shows Rick and Morty (2019–2020) and Heels (2021–2023). He also created the Marvel Cinematic Universe series Loki (2021–2023) and wrote the scripts for the movies Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness (2022), Avengers: Doomsday (2026), and Avengers: Secret Wars (2027).

In 2010, Waldron received his degree from the University of Georgia’s Grady College of Journalism and Mass Communication. While enrolled in Pepperdine University’s MFA screenwriting program in February 2014, Waldron interned for the first season of the Adult Swim series Rick and Morty before being hired by Dan Harmon, the show’s co-creator, to work on the fifth season of Harmon’s NBC series Community. He was writing the television series Heels for Starz in February 2017. He was executive producing the YouTube Red series Good Game by August 2017.
