M. S. Raju

Biography:

Rayaparaju, the father of M. S. Raju, possessed hundreds of acres of land in the once Andhra Pradeshi West Godavari area. Rayaparaju moved to Madras after selling all of their holdings there. His father’s cousin is the Roja Movies producer Arjuna Raju. His father produced five to six movies after becoming a producer due to him.

M. S. Raju had a passion for movies early on. After completing his education, he enlisted the aid of a friend to launch his film career. In 1987, he directed a movie called Manavadostunnadu, starring Arjun and Sobhana. The goodwill of his father assisted him in finding lenders.

In honor of his kid, he founded a brand-new production firm called “Sumanth Art Productions.” The first movie produced under the name was Sathruvu (1991), which was directed by Kodi Ramakrishna and starred Venkatesh, Vijayashanti, and Kota Srinivasa Rao. The film’s fundamental plot was developed by Satyamurthy after M. S. Raju himself offered the initial idea. Tamil dubbing was also done for the movie. Both in Telugu and Tamil, Sathruvu was a commercially successful film.

In his subsequent movie, Police Lock-up (1993), Vijayashanti played two roles. Police Lock-up was also a huge success. The movie was equally successful in its Tamil dubbing. Street Fighter, directed by B. Gopal and starring Vijayashanti, was his subsequent motion picture. The box office failure that was Street Fighter.

Sumanth Ashwin, a son, and Rishita, a daughter, are M. S. Raju’s two children. There is an 11-year age difference between Sumanth and Rishita because she was born before Devi (1999) was released.With the M. S. Raju-directed movie Tuneega Tuneega (2012), Sumanth Ashwin made his acting debut.
