Lola Marie Tung [2] is an American model, singer, and actress who was born in 2002 or 2003. She is well-known for her role as Isabel “Belly” Conklin in the Amazon Prime Video series The Summer I Turned Pretty, which is based on Jenny Han’s book of the same name. In 2024, she debuted on Broadway as Eurydice in the Tony-winning musical Hadestown.
Tung grew up in New York City, where she was born. Her father is of Eastern European ancestry, while her mother is Chinese and Swedish. Sweden is where her maternal grandma comes from.
She took involved in Little Shop of Horrors and The Wizard of Oz productions while in middle school. She graduated in 2020 from Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School. She took involved in a Rent play with her extracurricular theatre group during her high school years.
She started attending Carnegie Mellon University’s School of Drama in the autumn of 202. She took a detour from her studies to film the first season of The Summer I Turned Pretty after finishing her first year in college.
