Lewis Pullman

Biography:

American actor and singer Lewis James Pullman was born on January 29, 1993. In the 2017 western The Ballad of Lefty Brown, he made his screen debut alongside his father, Bill Pullman. Pullman received a nomination for the Saturn Award for Best Supporting Actor for his role as Miles Miller in the neo-noir movie Bad Times at the El Royale (2018). In addition to leading parts in Press Play (2022), The Starling Girl (2023), Salem’s Lot, Skincare (both 2024), The Testament of Ann Lee (2025), and Remarkably Bright Creatures (2026), Pullman went on to play supporting parts in movies like The Strangers: Prey at Nite (2018), Them That Follow (2019), Top Gun: Maverick (2022), and Riff Raff (2024).

His performance as Robert “Bob” Reynolds/Sentry in the Marvel Cinematic Universe movie Thunderbolts* (2025) brought him both international notoriety and critical acclaim. Pullman is also well-known for his supporting parts as Calvin Evans in the Apple TV period drama miniseries Lessons in Chemistry (2023) and Major Major Major Major on the Hulu satirical black comedy miniseries Catch-22 (2019). For the latter, he was nominated for both the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Limited or Anthology Series or Movie and the Critics’ Choice Television Award for Best Supporting Actor in a Movie/Miniseries. In addition, he played Rhett Abbott in the science fiction neo-western series Outer Range (2022–2024). He is a musician in addition to an actor, and he presently plays drums for the indie pop rock group Atta Boy, which he founded in 2012 with lead singer Eden Brolin.
