Biography:

Khayyum Basha is a well-known Indian actor primarily active in Telugu cinema. He was born in Rajahmundry, East Godavari, Andhra Pradesh. With a career spanning more than ninety Telugu films, Khayyum Basha is celebrated for his diverse acting skills. Despite coming from a financially modest family background, where his father worked as a tailor and his mother managed the household, Basha’s talent propelled him to success.

He notably collaborated with the renowned actor Allari Naresh, a prominent figure in Tollywood cinema. Khayyum Basha’s brother is the famous Tollywood actor Ali, who boasts an impressive filmography spanning over 1000 films in Telugu, Tamil, and Bollywood industries. Khayyum Basha’s performances in movies like “Ishq” and “Super” have left a lasting impact. His parents are Zaitun Bibi and Mohammad Baksha.

Khayyum Basha tied the knot with a woman from Guntur whose father runs a business called Arshia Kamal. Their marriage began on February 22, 2015, marking a new chapter in their lives.

Among his notable works is the Telugu hit “Swathi Kiranam,” a 1992 drama film centered around music. Another significant project is “Raja Kumarudu,” a 1999 Telugu romantic comedy featuring Bollywood star Preity Zinta in a lead role. The film, meaning “Prince” in English, achieved success at the box office and garnered acclaim for its cast.
