Erik Sommers is a screenwriter, producer, and writer for television in the United States. Erik Sommers started out as a member of the Stark Raving Mad production crew.
He met his future writing partner, Chris McKenna, while working as a writer on American Dad. In addition to co-writing Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle and The Lego Batman Movie in 2017, they were also involved in the first Spider-Man trilogy in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) from 2017 to 2021 and co-wrote Ant-Man and the Wasp in 2018.
