Arushi Sharma, born on November 18, 1995, is an Indian actress known for her work in Hindi films and series. She stepped into the world of acting with a minor role in Imtiaz Ali’s film Tamasha (2015) and gained recognition for her performance in Ali’s Love Aaj Kal (2020). Since then, Sharma has appeared in the Netflix drama film Jaadugar (2022) and the series Kaala Pani (2023).
Originally from Shimla, Himachal Pradesh, Sharma was born to parents who are lawyers. She completed her education in Information Technology from Jaypee University of Information Technology, Himachal Pradesh, and was working in Gurugram before pursuing acting.
Sharma’s acting journey commenced in 2015 with Tamasha, where she portrayed the character of Ranbir Kapoor’s teacher and featured as Samyukta in the song “Chali Kahani”. Subsequently, she appeared in two short films: Catorce: Diminishing Returns with Dhruv Sehgal in 2017 and The Other Way with Pavail Gulati in 2018. In Love Aaj Kal, she starred opposite Kartik Aaryan, earning praise for her subtle and impactful performance.
In 2022, Sharma starred in Netflix’s Jaadugar opposite Jitendra Kumar, portraying the role of a doctor named Disha Chabbra. She also appeared in Netflix’s series Kaala Pani (2023).
