Akriti Kakar

Biography:

Akriti Kakar, an Indian singer known for her vibrant voice, hit songs like “Saturday Saturday” from the film Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania and “Iski Uski” from 2 States, also has a remarkable solo album titled Akriti, released in April 2010 under Sony Music India. Born and raised in Delhi, she shares a strong musical connection with her twin sisters, Sukriti Kakar and Prakriti Kakar, who are also accomplished playback singers.

Apart from her successful musical career, Akriti ventured into television, judging Zee Bangla’s Sa Re Ga Ma Pa: Li’l Champs and was set to appear on Colors TV’s Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa.

Adding to her personal life, Akriti tied the knot with director Chirag Arora in March 2016. Their family expanded in November 2023 with the arrival of their son.
