Rahul Ravindran

Biography:

Rahul Ravindran is an Indian Film Actor and Director, who mainly works in Telugu and Tamil Languages. He was born to Ravindran and Vasumathi on Tuesday, June 23, 1981, in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India.

Rahul has a younger brother, Rohit, who is a professional photographer. He did his schooling at Vidya Mandir Senior Secondary School in Chennai. Later, he finished his bachelor’s degree in Commerce and then did Masters in Business Management.

He then worked as an Assistant Brand Manager for a leading media company in Mumbai. During this time, He got an offer to act in a television Commerical. He then attend the audition and acted in that commercial.

In 2006, Rahul made his acting debut in Tamil Film Industry with the ‘Madrasi‘ movie. He then acted in a couple of movies like Moscowin Kavery, Vinmeengal, and Sooriya Nagaram in the Tamil Language.

In 2012, Rahul made his debut in Telugu Film Industry with the‘Andala Rakshasi‘ movie. He then acted in various super hit movies like Ala Ela, Srimanthudu, U-Turn, Most Eligible Bachelor, and Shyam Singha Roy, etc.

Rahul then turned into a director with the ‘Chi La Sow‘ movie and won National Award for Best Original Screenplay. He next directed Akkineni Nagarjuna’s Superhit Manmadhu sequel ‘Manmadhudu 2’, which is the official remake of the French movie, ‘I Do’.
