Biography:

Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub Khan, an Indian actor prominent in Hindi cinema, often takes on supporting roles, boasting a career of over 25 films spanning eight years. Additionally, he appeared in the Hindi serial “Kyunki… Jeena Isi Ka Naam Hai,” aired on Doordarshan in 2008. Notably, he has collaborated with director Aanand L. Rai on four films.

Ayyub’s film journey commenced with a negative portrayal in Raj Kumar Gupta’s successful semi-biographical thriller “No One Killed Jessica” (2011), earning him a nomination for the Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut. Subsequently, he made brief appearances in box-office hits like “Mere Brother Ki Dulhan” (2011), “Jannat 2” (2012), “Raanjhanaa” (2013), “Shahid” (2013), “Raja Natwarlal” (2014), “Tubelight” (2017), “Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi” (2019), and “Article 15” (2019). Ayyub achieved significant commercial success with small roles in “Tanu Weds Manu: Returns” (2015), “Raees” (2017), and “Mission Mangal” (2019), all ranking among the highest-grossing Indian films. He also ventured into web series, featuring in productions like “377 Ab Normal” (2019), “Rangbaaz” (2019), “A Simple Murder” (2020), “Tandav” (2021), “Bloody Brothers” (2022), and “Scoop” (2023).

Born on May 17, 1984, and raised in Delhi, Ayyub graduated from Kirori Mal College and completed his theater training at the National School of Drama (NSD), Delhi, in 2006. He tied the knot with Rasika Agashe in 2007, and they have a daughter.
