Biography:

Makarand Deshpande, an Indian actor, writer, and director who works in Hindi, Kannada, Marathi, Telugu, Malayalam, Tamil, and Indian theater, was born on March 6, 1966. He frequently appears in leading and supporting roles in movies like Jungle, Sarfarosh, Swades, Makdee, and Bbuddah. Hoga He frequently plays drunkard, wayfarer, and comedic characters in Terra Baap and Darna Zaroori Hai. He has helmed more than 5 movies.

More than 50 short plays and 40 full-length plays, including Sir Sir Sirla, Joke, Maa In Transit, Krishna Kidding, and Shakepearcha Mhatara, are among his contributions to the theater. His most recent play, Patni, co-written with Niladri Kumar, has become a national sensation. At the Prithvi Theatre, he began his theatrical career in 1990 with the assistance of Sanjana Kapoor. In 1993, he co-founded Ansh Theatre Group with Kay Kay Menon, who continues to be a key member of the organization.

Makarand Deshpande is known for his role in the Kannada-language film series Dandupalya.
