Story:

The Indian animated series “The Legend of Hanuman” was developed by Sharad Devarajan, Jeevan J. Kang, and Charuvi Agrawal for Disney+ Hotstar. Produced by Graphic India, it debuted on January 29, 2021, featuring 13 episodes. Following its success, the series was greenlit for a second season consisting of 13 episodes on July 27, 2021. Recently, a third season comprising only 6 episodes was released on January 12, 2024.

Plot

The series depicts the incarnation of the deity Mahadev as Hanuman, who emerges to serve God Rama. It portrays his journey from a formidable warrior to a divine figure, illustrating how Hanuman emerged as a symbol of hope amid profound darkness.

Voice Actors

Sanket Mhatre takes on the role of Shree Ram, Surbhi Pandey portrays Sita, and Damandeep Singh Baggan embodies Hanuman and the Void Demon. Vikrant Chaturvedi assumes the character of Sugreev, while Richard Joel steps into the role of Lakshmana. Sharad Kelkar portrays Ravana, with Rohan Jadav appearing as Teenage Ravana. Shakti Singh lends his voice to Jambavana, while Sahil Vaid takes on the roles of Vali in Season 1 and Ahiravana in Season 3. Toshi Sinha portrays Shurpanakha, and Rajesh Jolly voices Sampati. Aaditya Raj Sharma plays Hariya, and Pushkar Vijay takes on the role of Angada. Rohan Verma portrays Nal, and Shailendra Pandey voices Pavan Dev. Surendra Bhatia assumes the roles of Walkilya and Sage Vishrawa Muni, while Vikram Kochhar plays Suketu. Amit Deondi voices Neel, the brother of Nal, and Ganesh Divekar portrays Indrajit. Girish Sahdev embodies Vibhishana, Ghanshyam Shukla voices Vajramushti, Anup Shukla portrays Kumbhakarna, and Mohak Ninad assumes the role of Virupaksha. Siddharth Awasthi brings Mahodra to life in the series.
