Prime VideoSuzhal: The Vortex is a Tamil-language crime thriller series created by Pushkar-Gayathri for Amazon Prime Video. Set in the fictional town of Saambaloor in Tamil Nadu, the series follows a missing person investigation that exposes and disrupts the delicate social structure of the town. The cast includes R. Parthiban, Kathir, Aishwarya Rajesh, and Sriya Reddy.
Directed by Bramma G and Anucharan Murugaiyan, and produced by Wallwatcher Films, the first season consists of eight episodes and premiered on 17 June 2022.
The series released on 17 June 2022, features music by Sam C.S., cinematography by Mukeswaran, editing by Richard Kevin, and production design by Arun Venjaramoodu. A second season has been announced.
