Story:

“Meet Cute” is a Telugu-language anthology drama series released in 2022 on SonyLIV, marking the debut of writer and director Deepthi Ganta. The show features a stellar cast including Sathyaraj, Aakanksha Singh, Adah Sharma, Ashwin Kumar Lakshmikanthan, Ruhani Sharma, Shiva Kandukuri, and Sanchitha Poonacha. The music is composed by Vijay Bulganin, and it is produced by Nani and Prashanti Tipirneni under the banner of ‘Wall Poster Cinema.’ The trailer was unveiled on November 18th, and the series premiered on November 25th, 2022, garnering positive reviews from both critics and viewers alike.

Plot

Episode-1

Swathi, a proficient IT professional, finds herself reluctantly meeting a boy arranged by her mother, despite her reservations. Abhi, the young man, appears genuinely eager to impress her for a particular reason. Whether Abhi succeeds in winning over Swathi forms the heartwarming beginning of their encounter, setting the stage for their story to unfold.

Saru, brimming with excitement for her upcoming girls’ trip to Paris and on the brink of collecting her passport from the consulate, encounters Mohan Rao, a retired journalist also in the midst of applying for a visa for his journey to Switzerland. Their exchanges and Mohan Rao’s insights on relationships, which alter Saru’s viewpoint, weave together this charming tale illustrating the timeless wisdom that comes with age.

Padma, a loving mother, stumbles upon her son with a girl while returning from grocery shopping. Intrigued, she discreetly follows them and discovers they are at a dog shelter where the girl volunteers on weekends. Initially driven by curiosity to learn more about her son’s mysterious girlfriend, Padma’s journey evolves into a touching exchange between two women who share a deep affection for the same young man, albeit for the same reasons.

Shalini, a prominent celebrity returning from an award ceremony, finds herself stranded on a rainy street due to a car breakdown.
