Story:

Kaafir is a drama thriller web series is inspired by true events and follows the moving story of Kainaaz Akhtar, a young girl from Pakistan-administered Kashmir, who ends up crossing the Line of Control unintentionally and gets wrongfully imprisoned without any trial for years even after having a daughter. The story takes a turn when Vedant Rathod, an idealistic journalist, decides to take up Kainaaz’s case and fight for her freedom in order to expose the injustice being done to her. Themes of humanity, identity, justice, and compassion come through in the drama thriller web series that shows how political borders and bureaucratic systems can have a tremendous effect on innocent people.
