Plot
The Hindi-language film narrates the tale of Indian businessman Srikanth Bolla, who rose to fame as the creator of Bollant Industries, a firm established in 2012 to hire unskilled and disabled people to produce environmentally friendly goods. The movie follows the hardships of Srikanth, who was born blind in the village of Seetharamapuram in Machilipatnam, India’s then-undivided Andhra Pradesh.
The movie shows Srikanth’s accomplishments in spite of adversity. When he meets a newborn without sight, the joy of the father who named his son after cricketer Krishnamachari Srikkanth is transformed into dismay. He digs a hole to bury him but is saved by his mother. He also has to endure bullying in the local school despite his brilliance.
The story then shifts to Hyderabad, where he excels in a special school until being expelled for his conceit. Since then, he has been guided by his instructor Devika, who supports him and helps him file a lawsuit to pursue science even though he received a 98 percent. After being turned down for admission to the Indian Institute of Technology, she encourages him to try applying overseas, and he is accepted as the first foreign visually impaired student at Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
Two classmates at MIT support him and help him realize his goals. He meets Swati on social internet during his undergraduate years, and she becomes enamored with him. His current girlfriend, Swati, encourages him to return to India after graduation in order to fulfill his aspirations.
Once more, his mentor assists him in establishing a computer institute that ultimately fails. Later, he and his business partner Ravi Mantha decide to start Bollant Industries, where he mostly employs people with disabilities. With ongoing support from his coach, Srikanth is eventually able to reach the degree of accomplishment he had hoped for following a few miscommunications with his partner. The tagline, Aa Raha Hai Sabki Aankhen Kholne, represented this.
