Story:

Robo 2.0 is a Tamil language film released in 2018 directed by Shankar.

Eight years later, Dr. Vaseegaran unveils his new android Nila. Suddenly, all phones fly into the sky. Panic ensues as a council debates the solution. Vaseegaran proposes reactivating Chitti, but Dhinendra, haunted by Chitti’s past, fiercely opposes it. The city’s fate hangs in the balance.

Phone swarm attacks city, forces Chitti’s reactivation. Upgraded Chitti battles the swarm, recharges on a space station, repels the swarm with positive charge. Chitti and Vaseegaran discover negative charge powers the swarm, neutralize it with a photon synthesizer. Defeated phones reveal Pakshi Rajan, the swarm’s source.

Chitti learns everything abou Pakshi, a frustrated ornithologist, died fighting cell phone radiation’s harm on birds. Chitti captures Pakshi but Dhinendra releases him, causing chaos. Chitti refuses to harm possessed Vaseegaran, allowing Pakshi to escape. Nila restores Chitti, targeting him at Pakshi.

Pakshi traps people, killing Dhinendra with radiation. Chitti battles Pakshi but loses power. Kutti 3.0 saves the day, forcing Pakshi to retreat. Chitti’s journey highlights the need for understanding technological consequences, with his compassion and determination proving hope and courage can prevail.
