Plot
Abhinav “Chintu” Kumar Tyagi works as a government engineer in the Public Works Department (PWD) and is a typical Kanpur middle-class man. He was wed to Lucknow-based teacher Vedika Tripathi. Although Chintu is content, Vedika’s desire to relocate to a large city and his domineering parents’ refusal to plan a child cause him distress.
Chintu, who is bored and under pressure in his daily existence, finds solace in Tapasya Singh, a Delhi-based fashion designer who is linked to his boss and came to choose a plot for her fashion business. Chintu chooses to live a happy life after discovering that he is drawn to her. He tells her that Vedika is having an affair with Rakesh Yadav, who is truly enamored with her and a pupil in her class. Even though Chintu tries to stay away from Vedika, she eventually witnesses the two of them together when he goes on dates with Tapasya. She listens to him lie to her while keeping this to herself.
Vedika informs Chintu that she is leaving him and is aware of his adultery, so by the time he realizes he has harmed her, it is too late. Chintu becomes aware of his affection for her. He goes to see Vedika’s parents with his best buddy Fahim, distraught, but her parents give them her letter, in which she claims to be eloping with Doga. Doga’s goons beat Chintu and Fahim in his travel agency. Tapasya asks him why he chooses to stay sad while she is there for him after he pays her a visit at her house and informs her that she cannot replace Vedika. He wrecks Doga’s business after working himself up in a drunken fit of wrath. He is taken into custody, but Fahim covers his bail.
When Rakesh and Fahim get home one morning, Chintu is upset and tells him that Vedika is leaving for Canada permanently. The police and Chintu’s family are after the three as they dash to the Lucknow Airport. Chintu discovers Tapasya, Doga, and Vedika at the airport. Tapasya spares him, explaining that since he didn’t have an intimate relationship with her while in Delhi, she won’t hit him no matter how much she wants to. He learns that Doga is traveling to Canada and that this is part of Doga’s scheme to convince him of Vedika’s value. He is forgiven by Vedika, and they make up.When Neha Khanna, another girl, eventually walks into his office, he immediately looks at her but controls himself. He yells her name as she leaves, and she refers to him as a “weirdo” to herself.
