Story:

Nenu Meeku Telusa? is a Telugu film released in 2008, stars Manoj Manchu, Sneha Ullal and Riya Sen. Inspired by “Clean Slate,” it explores memory loss & psychological twists. Dubbed into Tamil as “Ennai Theriyuma?” in 2009.

Aditya, suffering from short-term memory loss, relies on daily audio recordings to cope. After a night of heavy drinking with friends, he wakes with no memory and a missing cassette. He finds his uncle murdered in his own car and is arrested. Unable to recall anything, he convinces the authorities of his condition. Enter Anjali, a determined police officer who takes on the case with the hope of unraveling the truth behind Aditya’s amnesia and his uncle’s death.

The narrative shifts to a flashback revealing Aditya and Anjali’s past as college sweethearts. A misunderstanding will lead to their separation, but Aditya attempts to reconcile, only to be struck by amnesia in an accident. Back in the present, Anjali diligently investigates Aditya’s uncle’s murder but reaches frustrating dead ends. Determined to find the truth, Aditya decides to remain awake, knowing that sleep will wipe his memory clean. As he delves deeper into his past, a shocking truth emerges: Anjali was his lost love all along. This revelation fuels his determination to solve the case and reclaim a piece of his forgotten life.

On the verge of solving his uncle’s murder, Aditya calls Madhumitha and Anjali to hear his revelation. Suspicious of Anjali, he prepares for a showdown at dawn. He battles sleep, but exhaustion wins as the clock strikes 7. Awakened to a tense standoff, Aditya finds Anjali and Madhumitha aiming guns at each other, both pleading for his help. In a split-second decision, he shoots Madhumitha, killing her instantly.

Uttej, Madhumitha’s brother, emerges, unraveling the truth. Driven by ambition, Madhumitha desired the company’s leadership, but Aditya, the heir, blocked her path. She manipulated him into a relationship to steal the wealth. Their plan was foiled by Aditya’s uncle, leading Madhumitha and Uttej to murder him and frame Aditya.

Justice served, the film concludes with Aditya and Anjali’s wedding. Replacing the audio tape, Anjali lovingly recounts his past each morning, ensuring he never forgets the truth he fought hard to uncover.
