Mehbooba

Story:

2018 saw the release of Mehbooba, an Indian Telugu-language reincarnation romantic action drama film starring Neha Shetty and Puri Jagannadh’s son, Akash Puri.

The protagonist of this tale is Roshan, a self-assured Hindu youth from Hyderabad who wants to enlist in the Indian army. Despite his father’s opposition to his enlisting in the army, he has the backing of his friends and family to pursue his ambition, and he eventually gives in to his wife’s demands. Afreen, a shy Pakistani girl from a traditional Muslim household in Lahore, was accepted into JNTU Hyderabad, India as part of a student exchange program. Her father does not support her in her professional endeavors, but he does give her permission to marry the man of her choosing.

Then he sets up a meeting between Afreen and Nadir, a wealthy and haughty man who despises women out of habit. She then joyfully traveled to Hyderabad to continue her engineering studies. Roshan and Afreen emotionally relate with the song “Lag ja gale” from the Woh Kaun Thi movie, as they both have reoccurring dreams in which they are slain.

Then it is revealed that Roshan finished his graduation on Afreen’s first day of college. Later on, Afreen is made to learn Telugu by her college friends, who taunt her. They grew close to her after she learned telugu, and in the midst of all of this, Roshan befriends Shabbir, a Pakistani student, in a chaotic situation.
