TheatreMaragadha Naanayam is a Tamil fantasy comedy film written and directed by debutant ARK Saravan. The movie stars Aadhi and Nikki Galrani, with Anandaraj, Munishkanth, Daniel Annie Pope, Mime Gopi, and Kota Srinivasa Rao in supporting roles. The music was composed by newcomer Dhibu Ninan Thomas, with PV Shankar handling the cinematography and Prasanna GK the editing.
The plot follows Senguttuvan and Elango, who are hired by a jewel smuggler to find a cursed treasure that has caused many deaths. With the help of a priest, they summon three spirits to help locate the treasure.
Released on 16 June 2017 in both Tamil and Telugu (the latter titled Marakathamani), the film received positive reviews from critics and was a commercial success. On 27 July 2023, Saravan announced a sequel titled Maragadha Naanayam 2.
