From a low-income background, Venkataramana, also known as “Venkat,” meets Sujatha at his college and becomes enamoured with her. Sujatha develops feelings for Venky following numerous encounters. But Sujatha’s father finds out about this through an astrologer, and he arranges for Sujatha to get married to her rogue and womanising cousin Raghu. Sujatha and Raghu fall in love right away, and he tells her not to fall in love or get married to anyone. Following her engagement, Raghu and his gang arrive at the temple, where Sujatha meets Venky, who is then severely beaten.Nevertheless, Venky becomes resolute and informs Raghu that he and Sujatha are getting married and that he will pick Sujatha up at seven in the morning. Raghu, furious, orders the family to consummate the marriage. Sujatha enters the room to change, but after seeing his message, she is truly waiting for Venkat. In the interim, Raghu arrives and Venkat and Sujatha flee. Raghu and his men corner Venky and Sujatha in the forest after a furious chase. Venky and Raghu engage in a fierce hand-to-hand battle in which Venky ultimately prevails. In front of Raghu and her family, Venky and Sujatha tie the knot with the blessing of Sujatha’s father.
