Anshul Sharma is the director and Luv Ranjan is the writer of the upcoming romantic comedy De De Pyaar De 2 in Hindi. Jimmy Sheirgill, R. Madhavan, Rakul Preet Singh, and Ajay Devgn feature in this follow-up to the 2019 movie De De Pyaar De.
In Punjab, the production had two shooting schedules. The initial plan, which was scheduled for September–October 2024 in Patiala, was canceled when director Anshul Sharma contracted dengue sickness. January 2025 marked the start of the second schedule, which ended in February 2025.
