Akiv Ali is an Indian film editor recognized for his work in Hindi cinema. He is known for editing Once Upon a Time in Mumbai, which portrays the intense rivalry between two gangsters, Sultan Mirza and Shoaib Khan, as they vie for control over Mumbai’s underworld. Ali also acted in the 2005 film Rog.
He made his directorial debut with De De Pyaar De (2019), which centers on Ashish, who, after falling in love with a much younger woman, must navigate the challenges of introducing her to his ex-wife and children, risking their relationship. The film stars Ajay Devgn, Tabu, and Rakul Preet Singh.
