Chhaava

Story:

Chhaava, which translates to “Lion’s cub,” is an upcoming historical epic film in Hindi that is based on the life of Vicky Kaushal’s character, the Maratha ruler Sambhaji. It is based on Shivaji Sawant’s Marathi novel Chhava. produced by Dinesh Vijan under Maddock Films and directed by Laxman Utekar. Santosh Juvekar, Neil Bhoopalam, Prakash Raj, Ashutosh Rana, Divya Dutta, Pradeep Rawat, Rashmika Mandanna, and Akshaye Khanna are also in the movie.

Filming started in October 2023 and concluded in May 2024, with pre-production starting in April 2023. Amitabh Bhattacharya wrote the lyrics, while A. R. Rahman scored the soundtrack album and the movie score. On 14th Feb 2025, it will be released in theaters.
