Shobha Mohan

Biography:

Shobha Mohan, a prominent figure in the Malayalam film industry, was born to actor Kottarakara Sreedharan Nair and Vijayalakshmi in Kottarakkara, Kollam, Kerala. As the elder sister of Malayalam actor Sai Kumar, she has been part of a family with a rich heritage in the entertainment industry.

Shobha Mohan made her foray into the film world with her debut in “Balloon” in 1982, where she played the lead role opposite Mukesh. This marked the beginning of her acting career, and she went on to leave an impression on the audience with her performances.

On November 5, 1984, Shobha Mohan tied the knot with K. Mohankumar, a distinguished figure in Malayalam theatre. Their union has been blessed with two sons, Vinu Mohan and Anu Mohan, both of whom have followed in their family’s footsteps and become actors in the film industry. Actress Vidhya Mohan, who is known for her work in Malayalam cinema, is Shobha Mohan’s daughter-in-law.
