Biography:

Mohan Sithara is an acclaimed Indian music composer, recognized for his significant contributions to the Malayalam film industry. Born in Kozhikode, Kerala, his musical journey began in 1986, and since then, he has played a pivotal role in shaping the soundtracks of numerous films. His versatility is evident in his ability to seamlessly blend Western, Classical, and folk styles in his compositions.

One of the noteworthy highlights of Mohan Sithara’s career came in 2009 when he was honored with the Kerala State Film Award for Best Music Director for his exceptional work on the songs in Priyanandan’s film, “Soofi Paranja Kadha.” This accolade underscored his prowess in creating musical pieces that resonate with audiences and enhance the overall cinematic experience.

Throughout his illustrious career, Mohan Sithara has collaborated with a diverse array of lyricists and poets, showcasing his ability to adapt his musical style to different themes and narratives. His musical partnerships have included luminaries such as O. N. V Kurup, Yusufali Kechery, Sreekumaran Thampi, Rajeev Alunkal, Kaithapram Damodaran Namboothiri, S.
