Baa Baa Black Sheep

Story:

Baa Baa Black Sheep (2026) is an upcoming, high-concept Telugu crime-comedy directed by Guni Manchikanti and produced under the Chitralayam Studios banner by Venu Donepudi. The film deviates from the form of traditional commercial films, and the entire story is structured by multiple characters, and the action occurs in the entire day.

The story is about the sudden unexpected discovery of the long lost pocket watch of Mahatma Gandhi. This valuable historical artifact has the power to start a frenzy of action in the misty and scenic landscape of Sohra, Meghalaya, in a very fast-paced manner. The crazy chase inadvertently draws six oddball characters into a perilous, but hilariously entertaining underworld adventure that’s fueled by guns, gold, and greed.

It is a historic achievement as the first feature film that was totally shot in the region under the Meghalaya Film Tourism Policy. The film’s stellar ensemble cast (Akshay Lagusani, Vishnu Oi, Upendra Limaye, Tinnu Anand and George Maryan) ensures an energetic and witty, yet gripping, cinematic ride, with Electronic Kili and Anand (Arcado) lending the movie an energetic score.
