Stephin Jose

Biography:

Electronic Kili, also known as Stephin Jose is an emerging composer and producer in the Malayalam film industry who is making an impact in the contemporary music domain. He is from the town of Idukki, Kerala and started playing the piano in church while he was studying civil engineering, then moved on to formulating a desire to learn music properly and eventually ended up studying music theory formally at A.R. Rahman’s KM Music Conservatory in Chennai.

He made his debut in the film industry as a music composer for the popular Jaya Jaya Jaya Jaya Hey (2022). In 2024, Stephin found himself in the spotlight with his signature cool, breezy voice lending his voice to the viral chartbusting “Eyy Banane Oru Pootharamo” of Vaazha. He further established himself as a versatile artist with his debut music directorship of Thalavara (2025), which was praised for its soulful and melodic compositions, including “Ilakozhiye”. As a proven ability to combine electronic production with traditional indie-folk and old-world Malayalam sensibilities, Electronic Kili is a much in-demand talent, and has been working on major projects such as Maranamass, Extra Decent and a steadily expanding independent electronic singles discography.
