TheatreReturn of the Dragon is an upcoming Indian Tamil-language film written and directed by Ashwath Marimuthu, based on a story he co-wrote with Pradeep Ranganathan. Produced by AGS Entertainment, the film stars Pradeep in the lead role, supported by Anupama Parameswaran, Kayadu Lohar, George Maryan, Indumathy Manikandan, K. S. Ravikumar, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Mysskin, VJ Siddhu, and Harshath Khan.
The film was officially announced in April 2024 under the tentative title #PradeepAshwathCombo, marking the first collaboration between Pradeep and Ashwath. The official title, Dragon, was revealed shortly after. Principal photography began in May 2024 in Chennai.
With music composed by Leon James, cinematography by Niketh Bommi, and editing by Pradeep E. Ragav, Dragon is set to deliver a visually captivating and musically rich experience. The film is scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release on 21 February 2025.
