Manchu Vishnu has dedicated years of hard work to his devotional action drama “Kannappa“. He spent a lot of time researching the story of the legendary Kannappa and refining the script.
The film has finally started, and Vishnu has managed to bring big stars like Prabhas, Akshay Kumar, Mohanlal, and Kajal Aggarwal on board. The big news is that Kannappa is set to release on April 25th 2025.
The team revealed this release date with a poster showing a trident. Originally planned for a December release, the makers have now chosen Summer 2025 for the film’s debut.
Vishnu is carefully handling not only the production but also the promotion of the film. He even launched the teaser at the prestigious Cannes Film Festival, which helped create a lot of buzz.
Kannappa has a vast story, which is why the team needed a large supporting cast. Recently, they have been releasing character posters of the supporting actors to introduce audiences to the world of Kannappa.
Preity Mukundhan plays Vishnu’s love interest in the film. Mukesh Kumar Singh is directing the film. Along with playing a major role, legendary actor Mohan Babu is also producing the film under his banner, 24 Frames Factory.
