After the huge success of Chennai Express, Shah Rukh Khan and Rohit Shetty teamed up for Dilwale which didn’t do well in India but performed strongly overseas. Since then there were rumors of a rift between them.
In a recent interview Rohit Shetty denied these rumors, saying there’s mutual respect between them and no fallout.
He clarified that after Dilwale, both of them started focusing on their own production houses. Even though Dilwale didn’t meet domestic expectations, there was no loss, and it was still a global success.
Rohit also spoke about his strong relationships in the industry. He sees Ajay Devgn as a big brother and shares a close bond with Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone.
He praised Deepika for finishing Singham Again while four months pregnant. Meanwhile, Shah Rukh is working on King with Suhana Khan.
