Tiger Shroff recently received a fake death threat call that created quite a buzz.
The Mumbai Police control room got a call from a Punjab resident, Manish Kumar Sujinder Singh, claiming that weapons worth Rs. 2 lakh had been provided to people plotting to kill the actor.
The information was passed on to the Khar police, who launched an immediate investigation. After thorough checks the police confirmed that the threat was false. An FIR has been filed against the caller and he will be brought to Mumbai for further legal proceedings.
This incident comes shortly after actor Salman Khan received a similar threat. A mentally unstable man from Gujarat sent a threatening message to the Mumbai Traffic Police’s WhatsApp helpline.
As a result Salman Khan continues to be under Y-Plus security cover. These back-to-back threats have sparked concern within the film industry prompting authorities to remain on high alert.
