Kannappa starring Manchu Vishnu was earlier set to release on April 25th but is now officially postponed to June 27th.
This update has eased concerns among Prabhas fans as he plays a key role in the film. The extra time gives the team over 70 days to complete post-production work without rushing.
After a recent preview, the makers decided to fine-tune a few scenes, especially those involving Prabhas, and are also improving the VFX to ensure a better experience and avoid negative feedback.
Vishnu has smartly held off on promotions for now. A well-planned publicity campaign will begin in May, and depending on Prabhas availability, major events and press meets will be organized around that time.
Meanwhile, there are rumors about a possible clash with Manchu Manoj’s Bhairavam, but since Manoj isn’t playing the main lead and both films differ in style, a direct clash seems unlikely at this stage.
