Actor and writer Vela Ramamoorthy is from India and has made appearances in Tamil-language movies. Prior to entering the film business, he spent several years working as a district coordinator for the government’s special program called Arivoli Iyakkam, which aimed to educate and inform the Tamil population.
He founded Karvaikattu Kalaikkuzu, a drama and cultural company, and penned several stage play scripts. Ramamoorthy graduated from PUC.
