Varshini Sounderajan

Biography:

Early Life:
Varshini was born into a Tamil family in Hyderabad. Babu Sounderajan is her father, while Alice Sounderajan is her mother. She was a student at Chirec International. She then finished her undergraduate studies in electronics at Osmania University in Hyderabad.

Film Carrer:
Varshini began her career as a model but soon transitioned to acting. Chandamama Kathalu (2014), which received the National Cinematic Award for Best Feature Film in Telugu, served as her cinematic debut.

Her roles in the Telugu films Lovers, Kai Raja Kai, and Sri Rama Raksha are well-known. She co-starred with Abijeet in the Annapurna Studios-created Viu web series Pelli Gola as the series’ main character. She acted in the next two seasons of the successful series. She served as a team captain on the Dhee television show. Varshini appeared in the inaugural edition of the Hyderabad Times segment, “Most Desirable Woman on Television, 2017.” She has also served as an anchor for Pataas 2 on television. She co-starred with Telugu actor Sumanth in the 2022 movie Malli Modalaindi. Positive reviews of the movie were given, particularly for Varshini’s performance. Additionally, Varshini served as the host of Comedy Stars on Star Maa, a well-liked Telugu television programme.

She made an appearance in Gunasekhar’s 2023 film Shaakuntalam. She served as the host of the well-known Telegu comedy programme Jabardast on November 15, 2018.
